Mechanical circulatory support restores eligibility for heart transplant in patients with significant pulmonary hypertension.

CONCLUSIONS: CF-LVAD support in ESHF pts leads to significant reduction of pre and post-capillary PH. Survival on CF-LVAD support is independent of elevated mPAP and PVR before implantation which suggests reduction of risk associated with PH by LVAD.
