Determination of absolute photoionization cross-sections of some aromatic hydrocarbons.

CONCLUSIONS: Based on our measurements and literature data, PICSs of most aromatic molecules have very similar values beyond their ionization energies. However, molecules that contain phenylacetylene structure have PICSs higher than other aromatics.
