Assessing executive function following the early stage of mild Ischemic stroke with three brief screening tests
Stroke, as the main disabling disease around the world, brings heavy economic and social burden to all countries, including China, an aging country.1 Post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI), one of the most “invisible disabilities”, is common among stroke survivors and can have a significant effect upon a patient's quality of life.2,3 Among stroke patients, the prevalence of PSCI is 81.4% and cognitive impairment in post-stroke patients manifests in various cognitive domains, with executive functio n being the most common.
