BMA withdraws from the joint statement put in place for trainees during COVID-19, NHS Employers

The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced its withdrawal from the joint statement, which details the application of contractual protections during the pandemic, relating to the Terms and Conditions of Service (T&Cs) for NHS Doctors and Dentists in Training (England) 2016. This was jointly agreed as a response to the service pressures and challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
