ConclusionsThe best treatment options for ED in SCI patients emerged to be PDE5 ‐Is and ICI. The choice of ED treatment should be based on several aspects, including residual erectile function, SCI location and patients’ comorbidities. Future studies assessing the applicability of less well studied treatments, as well as evaluating innovative options, are needed in this spe cific population.
CONCLUSION: The results to date show that implanted neuroprostheses can have a significant impact on the health, function, and quality of life for individuals with SCI. CONCLUSION Compared with aortic balloon occlusion, a Rescue stent offers superior hemorrhage control and survival by virtue of reduced ischemic injury and direct control of the hemorrhagic injury. The Rescue stent may become a useful tool for damage control, especially on the battlefield where definitive repair presents logistical challenges.
