Review of Outcomes in North East England for Patients Receiving Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Breast Carcinoma

Purpose: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can allow for breast conserving surgery to be undertaken and for assessment of tumour response to therapy, inferring prognostic implications. We reviewed outcomes for all patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy, in terms of pathological complete response (pCR) rates, to see if these were comparable with published data [1].
