Relationship between Alexithymia, Depression and the Negative Symptoms in Schizophrenia with and without Deficit Syndrome.

CONCLUSION: Lack of a correlation between the negative symptoms and alexithymic symptoms in DS suggested that the respective symptoms represented different independent phenomena in schizophrenia.
