Toxicity and dosimetry in SORAMIC study

Ricke et  al. reported their findings on the efficacy and safety of selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with resin yttrium-90 (90Y) microspheres (SIR-Spheres®, Sirtex) in combination with sorafenib compared to sorafenib treatment alone. This clinical trial with a superiority design, also known as t he SORAMIC study, was performed in patients with intermediate to advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
