Derek M. Steinbacher, Aesthetic Orthognathic Surgery and Rhinoplasty, Wiley Blackwell 2019

Given the plethora of books devoted to orthognathic surgery and rhinoplasty over the past four decades, it is intriguing to see a text that covers both domains of surgery. As the title begins with the adjective, “aesthetic”, it begs the question as to what additional information would be offered that has not already been covered in detail, given that facial balance has been a central aim of jaw surgery since its evolution and obviously, cosmesis in rhinoplasty has been paramount.
