Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws associated with intravitreal administration of ranibizumab

We report a case of MRONJ after intravitreal injection of a different anti-angiogenic agent – ranibizumab – for the treatment o f neovascular age-related macular degeneration, in a bisphosphonate-naïve patient.
