ACTH treatment of infantile spasms: Low-moderate vs. high dose, natural vs. synthetic ACTH. A retrospective cohort study
High dosages of natural adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) are used in many centers in the U.S. for the treatment of infantile spasms (IS). However, lower dosages of synthetic ACTH (tetracosactide) might be equally as efficient as high dosages.
