Reducing ER Visits and Readmissions after Head and Neck Surgery Through a Phone-based Quality Improvement Program.

CONCLUSIONS: Implementation of a phone call in the early postoperative period has the potential to decrease unnecessary ER visits and enhance patient satisfaction.
