Many advanced cancer patients experience persistent, disabling symptoms. In pilot research, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) has shown promise for reducing symptom interference with activities in advanced cancer patients. However, relationships between key ACT constructs and cancer patients' symptoms are largely unknown.
