We Need to Support More Women in Choosing Careers in Procedural Specialties

Recruiting women to procedural specialties has been challenging around the world for a variety of reasons. In Arab countries, the challenges are even greater because of traditional norms, culture, religion, and expectations that women maintain the household. In Arab countries, the percentage is similar with women being significantly underrepresented in this specialty (2).
