Dosimetric effect of intrafraction motion and different localization strategies in prostate SBRT

Due to proposed high fractionation sensitivity (low α/β-ratio) of prostate cancer [1,2] and technical advancements in radiotherapy (RT), the use of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for treatment of localized prostate cancer has increased in recent years. Growing clinical evidence has proven the feasibility of prostate SBRT and suggests it as an appropriate treatment modality for low-risk and intermediate-risk prostate cancer [3], and also for intermediate-to-high risk prostate cancer [4].
