11. ChromoSeq: WGS-based karyotyping for hematologic malignancies

Conventional cytogenetics are a diagnostic cornerstone for hematologic malignancies but have changed little over the past 50 years. Newer whole genome sequencing (WGS) methods can provide unbiased single-nucleotide resolution of all genomic variants. We sought to determine the clinical utility of ChromoSeq, a high-coverage WGS-based assay, compared to conventional cytogenetics in hematologic malignancies.
