Photodynamic Diagnosis for Pleural Disseminated Lesions of Lung Cancer Using a Combination of 5-Aminolevulinic Acid and Autofluorescence Observation System.

CONCLUSION: This method may facilitate the detection of minute disseminated lesions that are difficult to detect by usual inspection. In addition, the degree of pleural invasion may be diagnosed to evaluate the need for limited resection such as segmentectomy.
