New Onset Chorea in a Previously Healthy 7-Year-Old

A 7-year-old right-handed previously healthy boy presented with progressive clumsiness, abnormal movements of the right arm, and gait and speech abnormalities. The movements had not changed in character but had progressively increased in intensity. He had decreasing dexterity at school and home and occasionally slurred words at the ends of sentences.
