Does glycemic control rescue type 2 diabetic patients from COVID ‐19‐related deaths?

AbstractCoronavirus SARS ‐CoV‐2, which induced the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19), mainly invades respiratory tract and lung. Severe cases infected by SARS‐CoV‐2 progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), septic shock, and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), which leads to death in some cases.
