Grand Rounds: Presentation of a Large and Debilitating Fungating Anogenital Lesion

A 65-year-old Caucasian man presented with a 24-year history of perineal leakage, bleeding, and mobility limitations associated with enlarging anogenital mass. He delayed addressing this issue due to myocardial infarction and cardiac stenting requiring long-term anticoagulation. Other past medical history included diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, obstructive sleep apnea, hypertension, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He never pursued a biopsy or culture of the area.
