Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release: Indications, Technique, and Outcomes. Orthop Clin North Am. 2020 Jul;51(3):361-368 Authors: Karamanos E, Jillian BQ, Person D Abstract Carpal tunnel is the most common peripheral compressive neuropathy. Nonoperative management may provide temporary alleviation of symptoms, but in most cases surgical decompression is warranted. There are a multitude of approaches ranging from open release under general anesthesia to wide awake in-office endoscopic carpal tunnel release. The present article describes the technical considerations for the single incision, antegrade approach to endoscopic carpal tunnel release using the SEGWay system and technique.
