Mixed olfactory neuroblastoma and neuroendocrine carcinoma: An unusual case report and literature review.
Conclusion: Physicians should remain vigilant for the possibility of malignancy in their approach to nasal cavity masses, even in young otherwise healthy patients. Careful review of the immunohistopathology should also be taken, as mixed olfactory tumors such as these are aggressive, rare entities that require multidisciplinary oncologic care. In conclusion, this is the first study that shows A549 and H460 cells expressed two distinctive isoforms of CD74 but isoform at 41 kDa was absent. Due to the absence of this isoform, the direct physical interaction between them CD74 and CD44 was lacking. Furthermore, the data also demonstrated that lacking of direct physical interaction between CD74 and CD44 had no effect on NF-κB activation and PGE2 production indicating that CD74-mediated downstream signaling occurs either through coreceptors or indirect interaction with CD44 in human lung cancer cells. Conclusions: The serum levels of myostatin, follistatin, and IL-6 and their correlation with sarcopenia and survival were presented in HCC patients for the first time. The role of the serum follistatin level as a poor prognostic biomarker warrants further study. PMID: 32646201 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Conclusions: SBRT showed excellent results as an ablative treatment for patients with small HCCs while showing minimal toxicities. SBRT can be a good alternative for both curative and salvage intents in patients with HCCs that are unsuitable for curative treatments. PMID: 32646200 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Conclusion.: Preoperative imaging modalities is very important in parathyroidectomy surgery. Routine use of preoperative imaging modalities reduced the risk of complications in our clinic. PMID: 32646207 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Authors: Dhir A Abstract Migraine is the primary headache disorder affecting a significant population worldwide. Ubrogepant is an orally bioavailable calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist (gepant) approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the acute treatment of migraine headaches with or without aura in adults. Ubrogepant is the first oral CGRP receptor antagonist approved for the acute treatment of migraine. CGRP is an important key mediator of migraine pain; CGRP levels have been shown to be significantly higher during a migraine attack. Two pivotal phase III clinical trials...
