Improved Imaging-Based Diagnosis of PSP by [18F]PI-2620 Tau PET

Conclusions: These preliminary results indicate a potential of [18F]PI-2620 tau PET to improve the imaging-based PSP diagnosis which seems to be able to provide information independent of the severity of the clinical phenotype. More research in this regard on larger sample sizes and also concerning the known visual PSP signs in MRI/our currently developed visual PSP [18F]PI-2620 tau PET scoring system is, thus, justified.
