Physiologic Colonic Uptake of 18F-FDG on PET/CT Predicts Immunotherapy Response in Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Conclusions: Higher colon SUVmax on pre-ICI 18F-FDG PET/CT is associated with a higher proportion of progressive disease and shorter PFS in patients with advanced NSCLC. Larger studies are needed to confirm that physiologic colonic uptake of 18F-FDG correlates with microbiota diversity and could be used to predict the clinical outcome of patients treated with immunotherapy.
