Abstract The nanoprobe-based signal amplification strategy is a powerful way to ultrasensitively detect biomolecules. Herein, a gold nanoparticle-decorated molybdenum disulfide (MoS2-AuNP)-based multilayer nanoprobe (MLNP) was designed for ultrasensitive analysis of microRNA-21 (miRNA-21).
