Atrial fibrillation (AF) and cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) –dependent atrial flutter (AFL) are 2 separate entities that coexist in a significant ratio of patients. In patients with CTI ablation of AFL, the decision to hold anticoagulation often becomes an issue.
