Commentary to Megaprepuce: Presentation of a modified surgical technique with excellent cosmetic and functional results

We read with great interest the article written by Hirsch et al. The study is well written with a precise description of their technical points. We thank the authors for their repeated references to our study published in JPUrol in 2012 about our experience in surgically treating megaprepuce (1). We considered, as previously postulated by Redman (2), that one of the anatomical characteristics of the buried penis is rather short penile shaft skin. For that reason, we achieved coverage of the penis by unfurling the inner prepuce after partial reduction (2).
