A direct peroral cholangioscopy ‐assisted therapy for a choledochojejunostomy anastomotic stricture via EUS‐guided hepaticogastrostomy

AbstractA 70 ‐year‐old woman who had undergone a pancreaticoduodenectomy was admitted to our hospital due to obstructive jaundice caused by a benign stricture of choledochojejunostomy anastomosis. Single balloon enteroscopy‐assisted endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography was attempted, but the scop e could not reach the site of choledochojejunostomy anastomosis. Endoscopic ultrasound‐guided hepaticogastrostomy (EUS‐HGS) was then performed using a fully covered metal stent with a diameter of 6 mm.
