Radical Resection of Giant Chondrosarcoma of the Lateral Chest Wall

AbstractGiant chondrosarcomas arising from the lateral chest wall are rare. Wide resection is the only treatment modality which has shown survival benefits. We are reporting a case of a 28-year-old male with a giant chondrosarcoma weighing 8.5 kgs arising from the right lateral chest wall. Radical resection was performed and chest wall was reconstructed using polypropylene mesh and latissimus dorsi flap.
