Gambia: Malaria Still Poses Major Risk to Pregnant Women, Health Director Says

[The Point]The Director of Health Services, Momodou Waggeh, has outlined the need to combat malaria diseases in the country, stressing that despite all the effort put in place, malaria still poses major risks to pregnant women and their newborn babies as 20 per cent of antenatal consultation in reproductive and child health clinics are due to malaria.
