Osteoarthritis progression after exercise therapy or meniscectomy in patients with degenerative meniscal tears

We read with deep interest a recent article published in this journal by Berg et al1, who found no statistically significant differences in osteoarthritis progression after surgical and non-surgical treatment for degenerative meniscal tear. We really appreciate the work which was done by the authors. However, some worthwhile issues need to be explored.
