Effect of executive music therapy on state and trait anxiety levels of patients in a psychiatric ward: A quasi ‐experimental study
This study showed that EMT decreased the state anxiety levels of inpatients with psychiatric disorders (P < .05). However, the treatment caused no effect on trait anxiety levels (P > .05).Practice implicationsIn line with these results, we recommend that EMT should be included in therapeutic nursing interventions in psychiatric ward.
