Ebstein ’s anomaly: structural insights for the interventional electrophysiologist

Ebstein ’s anomaly (EA), originally described in 18661 (Figure), is characterized by a spectrum of hemodynamic and electrophysiological abnormalities. The condition is associated with a proclivity for accessory pathways (AP) and recurrent supraventricular tachycardia. Historically, APs in EA have been des cribed as notoriously challenging to eliminate and associated with a relatively high rate of recurrence.
