Notable Mesothelioma Treatment Centers Rank Highly In "Best Hospitals" List

U.S. News & World Report recently released its annual rankings of the best hospitals in the United States for cancer care. Some of the best mesothelioma treatment centers topped this list, demonstrating the prudent care provided to patients of the tragic asbestos-related cancer. Because of the rare and aggressive nature of mesothelioma cancer, proper diagnoses and treatments are often required at one of the big name cancer centers that have the resources to identify and treat the difficult disease. Since the increased incidence rates of mesothelioma in the late 1900s, select top-tier cancer centers have become authority institutions on cancer research with frequent appearances on similar ranking lists. The 2012 ratings from U.S. News & World Report validates much of the success stories that occur in the mesothelioma community, despite the all-too-often negative prognosis  associated with this cancer. The Top 10 Cancer Hospitals The online publication used specific criteria to rank institutions and is widely-accepted as a reputable benchmarking list, which is in its twenty-third year of ranking the best hospitals.
