Periorbital xanthelasmas, bilateral retro ‐orbital masses, bone and retroperitoneal infiltration: can you guess it?

AbstractA 46 ‐year‐old man with no relevant medical history presented to the Emergency Department with a headache, retro‐orbital pain, progressive proptosis and periorbital xanthelasmas. He denied bone pain nor any symptoms of diabetes insipidus. An ESR was 40 mm/hour and a CRP was 2.8 mg/dL. A non‐contr ast head CT demonstrated bilateral retro‐orbital masses.
