Abstract
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a debilitating inflammatory disease that is understudied, underfunded, and notable for mean diagnostic delay of approximately 7 years. We aimed to characterize annual HS-related publications across medical fields of study caring for HS in order to measure the extent of awareness, education and ongoing research in this area.
