The Role of MRI in Children With Congenital Limb Deficiencies With Associated Scoliosis
Conclusions:
There is a high incidence of neural axis abnormalities (63%) in children with congenital limb deficiencies and scoliosis. A large portion of these require neurosurgical intervention. MRI should be considered soon after presentation in this population of children.
