Adventist Health acquires community health planning venture

A recent acquisition by Roseville-based Adventist Health could see the health system play a larger role in community planning and environmental health. This week, Adventist announced that it's acquired Blue Zones LLC, a Minneapolis-based company that researches and assesses community health. Blue Zones originally started as a project for National Geographic, which was written by Blue Zone's founder, Dan Buettner, in 2005.
