Thyroid toxicity following immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment in advanced cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: Immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated thyroiditis is a distinct clinical entity. Mechanisms underlying aetiology remain largely unknown. Awareness amongst health professionals is important to limit morbidity and avoid unnecessary periods of untreated hypothyroidism.
