Photodynamic therapy by lysosomal-targeted drug delivery using talaporfin sodium incorporated into inactivated virus particles.

Conclusions: Laserphyrin® and L-HVJ-E were distributed mainly in lysosomes and induced cell death by both apoptosis and necrosis. Furthermore, L-HVJ-E-mediated PDT effectively killed cultured PC-3 cells and exerted higher photocytotoxicity than Laserphyrin®-mediated PDT. PMID: 32255916 [PubMed]

The objective of this work was to identify the risk factors (RFs) of active surveillance (AS) interruption in a prostate cancer (PCa) single-center retrospective cohort of patients.
