S.F. Board of Supervisors passes COVID-19 paid sick leave requirement
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously approved an emergency ordinance Tuesday afternoon that requires all employers with 500 or more workers to offer up to two weeks of paid sick leave for COVID-19 to their employees.
The emergency legislation does not require two readings and would become law if Mayor London Breed signs it.
