Quality of Life after pulmonary stereotactic fractionated radiotherapy (SBRT): results of the phase II STRIPE trial

For the treatment of early stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pulmonary oligo-metastases, beyond the standard of anatomical resection, stereotactic body fractionated radiotherapy (SBRT) has become an alternative treatment option. Providing excellent local tumor control SBRT has widely been established for inoperable patients and for those with a high risk of perioperative complications [2 –4].
