Sleep Quality, Fatigue, and Quality of Life in Individuals With Heart Failure

Heart failure is a chronic condition that negatively impacts sleep, fatigue, and quality of life. The purpose of this study was to explore sleep, fatigue, and quality of life among patients with heart failure. There were significant differences between the study variables, and these were moderately correlated. Together, sleep quality and fatigue predicted 40% of the variance in the physical and mental components of quality of life. The findings of this study support the use of sleep and fatigue assessments in patients with heart failure.
