Minnesota health insurers waive costs for COVID-19 treatment

Minnesota's nonprofit health plans are voluntarily waiving cost-sharing for COVID-19 in-patient treatment, according to a press release issued Thursday by the Minnesota Council of Health Plans, and for-profit players jumped in, too. The nonprofit health plan providers are Blue Cross and Blue Shield/Blue Plus of Minnesota, HealthPartners, Hennepin Health, Medica, PreferredOne and UCare.
