This study aimed to portray the characteristics, process variables, and sensorimotor outcomes of patients who had received their usual post-stroke in-patient rehabilitation in three stroke rehabilitation units in Quebec in 2013-2014. Method: We assessed patients (n = 264) at admission and discharge with a subset of a standardized assessment toolkit consisting of observational and performance-based assessment tools. CONCLUSION: The results showed that the immediate use of 1.5 cm shoe lifts seems to improve gait speed and functional mobility in chronic stroke patients. Further studies should focus on understanding the kinematics strategies and gait pattern alterations caused by shoe lifts under the NLL of post-stroke individuals. This study aims to evaluate the reliability, validity of IRTATS, and its measurement accuracy of the range of motion (ROM). Ninety-nine stroke patients and 20 healthy adults were recruited for the study. Kinematic variables and active joint ROM (AROM) were assessed using IRTATS.
