60. Knowledge of Anorectal Malformations and Associated Gynecologic Care: A Survey of Obstetrician/Gynecologists

Anorectal malformations (ARMs) occur in about 1 in 4000 live births. After birth, these anomalies are most commonly managed by pediatric colorectal surgeons, although there are a growing number of centers utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach that includes urologists and gynecologists. As these patients become adults, all will require gynecologic care and many will require obstetrical care. We hypothesized that ob/gyns have minimal knowledge and low confidence levels with respect to reproductive care needs for patients with ARMs.
