Active mTOR in Lung Epithelium Promotes Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition and Enhances Lung Fibrosis.
CONCLUSIONS: mTOR activation in lung epithelial cells promoted lung fibrosis and the expression of ANGPTL4, a novel downstream target of the mTOR pathway, which could be related to the etiology of fibrosis.
