Health ministry releases 'micro plan' to track local transmission in defined geographical areas

A rapid response team (RRT) will identify containment zones based on the extent of cases/contacts listed and mapped by them, the document released by the ministry said. In case contact listing or mapping takes more than 24 hours, then the RRT will demarcate an area of 3km radius around the epicentre of the residence of the Covid-19 positive patient as the containment zone.
