Funding Opportunity: Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) Phase 3
We’re pleased to announce that the Centers of Biomedical
Research Excellence (COBRE) Phase 3 funding opportunity announcement (FOA) (PAR-20-115) has been reissued.
COBRE supports thematic, multidisciplinary research centers
that establish and strengthen institutional biomedical research capacity in IDeA-eligible
states through three
sequential 5-year phases.
This funding opportunity will 1) support the scientific and technical cores developed during COBRE phases 1 and 2 to facilitate their transition into independent research service facilities and 2) sustain the research environment developed in the first two phases by supporting pilot research projects and career guidance and enhancement activities.
