Opacification of scleral-sutured akreos ao60 intraocular lens after vitrectomy with gas tamponade: case series

Conclusion: Although still an excellent option for the management of surgical aphakia in the absence of capsular support, caution should be taken when using a hydrophilic secondary intraocular lens, such as Akreos AO60, during vitreoretinal surgery if gas is required.
